Russell Hitchcock is the renowned frontman for AOR legends Air Supply – a band synonymous with classic ballads, massive vocals and rich harmonies. MRC will partner with Russell for an exclusive version of his second solo album ‘Take Time’.

‘Take Time’ was originally given a limited release in 2011, housed in a carboard sleeve, featuring a very polished production. However, the original mix of the album featured a more ‘pure anthemic AOR’ sound, with punchier guitars and a brighter sound. That is what will be released here for the very first time ever.

‘Take Time – Remastered & Revisited’ features a stunning selection of ballad friendly AOR tracks, with Russell in absolutely top vocal form. One additional track that wasn’t featured on the original release is included here and the whole package has been given the JK Northrup remastering treatment.

Joining Russell Hitchcock crafting this very fine album is songwriter/bassist/producer Don Cromwell, who worked with MRC on an earlier release - A Story Unfolds.

Russell’s first solo record – self-titled – was released in 1988.
Don Cromwell and Russell Hitchcock go way back. From 1983 through 1987, Don toured as the bass player with the renowned pop group Air Supply. While with the band, he worked with top producers in the studio, co-wrote songs on the hit album "Air Supply," and appeared in numerous videos and television performances. Following Air Supply, Don played bass with rock legend Eddie Money, touring and recording with him over the next six years. Don teamed up with long time Eddie guitarist - Tommy Girvin - to form the group Ransom, releasing an album in Europe and Japan in 1997 titled "Trouble in Paradise." Ransom also released a second CD "Better Days" in 2010.
