Salicus Kammerchor

　東京藝術大学バッハカンタータクラブのメンバーを中心に、2015年に結成。中世、ルネサンス、バロック期までの宗教声楽作品、特にJ. S. バッハの作品を演奏することを目的とする。団体名のSalicusは、装飾を伴うとされる上昇の「ネウマ」の名称に由来する。「ネウマ」とは、10世紀頃のグレゴリオ聖歌の記譜法である。Salicus Kammerchorでは、この歌心の粋を集めた「ネウマ」を解釈し、その歌唱法をグレゴリオ聖歌のみならず、ポリフォニー、そしてJ. S. バッハの演奏にも生かしていく。
　いわゆる古楽的アプローチに甘んじることなく、むしろそれに対し常に疑問を投げかけながら、音楽の核心に迫る為に様々な角度からアプローチを試みる。特にJ. S. バッハの作品は、非常に広大なバックグラウンドを有し、ある一つの尺度では計れない多様性を持っている。そのためあらゆる可能性を排除せず様々な価値観を受け入れながら、先入観に囚われない柔軟な演奏解釈を目指す。

Founded in 2015, mainly by the members of Bach Kantaten Club of Tokyo University of Arts, Salicus Kammerchor aims to perform sacred works from the medieval to baroque period with an emphasis on the works of J. S. Bach .
The group’s name 'Salicus' originates in a particular 'neume', which represents ascending notes with ornamentation. 'Neumes' are musical notations found in Gregorian chants from around the 10th century. Salicus Kammerchor interprets these 'neumes', the essence of singing, and applies that way of singing not only to gregorian chants but also to the polyphonic music, and even to the works of J. S. Bach.
Instead of uncritically adopting so called ‘Historically Informed Performance (HIP)’ practice, the ensemble continually rethinks about the practice itself, and in order to touch the heart of music, tries to approach it from various points of view. In particular, works by J. S. Bach have enormous background and therefore have so wide range of possible interpretations that it can't be evaluated from a certain standpoint. For that reason, considering every possibility, our performance seeks after flexible interpretation without any preoccupation.

　広島大学教育学部第四類音楽文化系コース、東京藝術大学音楽学部声楽科を卒業。同大学院古楽科をバロック声楽で修了。声楽を枝川一也、益田遙、河野克典、寺谷千枝子、櫻田亮の各氏に、バロック声楽を野々下由香里氏に、合唱指揮をアレクサンダー・ナジ氏に、指揮を今村能氏に、古楽演奏を花井哲郎氏に師事。またヴォイストレーニングを小久保よしあき氏、岩崎ひろき氏、Mahone氏に師事。
　Salicus Kammerchor、Ensemble Salicus、Chor Eleusisを主宰。フォンス・フローリス古楽院講師。東京藝術大学バッハカンタータクラブ2013-2015年度演奏委員長。ヴォーカル・アンサンブル アラミレ、リーダー。emulsion、Ensemble XENOS、The Cygnus Vocal Octet、ジャパンチェンバークワイア、ヴォーカル・アンサンブル カペラ、古楽アンサンブル コントラポント等に所属。
