Join us on our latest adventure as we cruise the Canaries from Southampton on Royal Caribbean Anthem of the Seas with a group of 12 family and friends. Some of our group have never cruised before whilst others are seasoned cruisers.
Episode 1 ( of 3) takes us from embarkation day in Southampton as we explore the ship for the first time and check out our balcony cabins. Sailing away from Southampton we pass the Isle of Wight into the English Channel and make our way down to the first stop in Vigo after a day at sea and the infamous Bay of Biscay.
Spend a day in Vigo with a beach stop and a walk around the City before getting back on board to continue our cruise down to Madeira. With two private taxis booked we tour the tropical island independently. Take a dip in some natural volcanic pools and a test of our head for heights at the 580 metre cliff top SkyWalk. Our day in port ends with one too many Madeira Rum cocktails at a local bar and a very confusing menu on the pool deck at Johnny Rockets back on the ship.
