What issues /solutions will get by replacing the charging port board/flex (Depend on the model & build structure)
Charging related Issues
Not charging, charges intermittently, cable not detecting, loose cable, slow charge, fast charging problems, heat related issues etc
Can Create Data Transfer Problems
• Phone not recognized by a computer, File transfer fails or disconnects frequently , not synching with iTunes or Finder
No Audio in Calls (Wired)
• Wired headphones (Lightning port) not detected
• Microphone doesn’t work during calls (if using Lightning headset)
Headphone jack
In most Android phones, the headphone jack is integrated into the charging port flex. Replacing or damaging this component can lead to issues with 3.5mm headphone or earphone functionality, such as poor audio quality, intermittent connection, or complete failure.
Bottom Microphone related issues
• People can’t hear you in calls, videos, or voice memos, voice recording
• Siri, Google, Bixby doesn’t respond to voice
• issues with Voice recording apps its sound picking
Vibration Motor/ Taptic Engine issues
• If the Taptic engine/ vibrator motor connection runs through this flex, a bad port may interrupt its proper functionality
• Vibrator motor / Taptic Engine may stop work
Network Related Issues
Some charging port assemblies also integrate antenna lines or routing. Replacing or damaging these components may lead to issues with cellular, Wi-Fi, or other network connectivity related problems.
Using non-genuine replacement parts can lead to various functional issues, depending on the quality of the specific part. This doesn't apply to all third-party replacement parts, but it largely depends on how well the part is manufactured.
Genuine (OEM) parts are built to strict standards using high-grade materials, while aftermarket parts may vary significantly in durability, fit, and performance.
Common issues - I replaced the part, my charging is slow or fast charging not working properly, My signals are dropping (connectivity related issues), phone is heating too fast, My LCD Display colour is different, My Speaker sounds are strange.
So it’s important to research the part before buying and always try to choose parts that come with a warranty. A good warranty (at least 3 to 6 months) is a sign of better build quality and more reliable performance.
