DIY Waist Beads | How to add a Barrel Clasp | Add a Charm | SUPER QUICK

Happy DIY Friday. Today I am back with another waist Bead tutorial. Waist beads may look like a simple accessory, but they can have a transformational effect on the wearer. Beads can make women feel sensual and grounded. The beads serve as an ongoing reminder to be more aware and loving toward one’s body.

Helpful Info:
Bead Wire: Use an online chart to make sure you have the right size crimp beads for your wire.

Barrel Clasp: Barrel clasps screw together for a secure and stylish fit.

Crimp Tubes: Crimp tubes come in a variety of sizes and metals, too, and some even have patterns on them. To crimp them, you need a crimping tool. Using the right size crimp bead or tube is also very important. If the crimp is too large for the jewelry wire, it won’t be able to grip the wire properly and it could slip, causing the jewelry piece to fail.

Crimp Covers: Crimp covers are designed to fit over the crimped bead or tube. They look like a bead, so it gives the design a more finished look.

Steps to securing your bead wire, Crimp tube, and Crimp Cover.

Slide the crimp bead down the wire. Move the crimp bead close to the end of the clasp or end piece. Check the crimp bead and make sure it is not too close to the clasp or end piece. You want to have a small loop around the clasp or end piece, but not so small that it holds the clasp so tightly that it cannot move freely. Flatten the bead.
