Breaking Immigration News...USCIS Filing Fee Increases up to 80%+ Coming Soon!

🚨Breaking immigration news🚨 - today the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services ("USCIS") officially published a new rule to increase filing fees for certain petitions and applications.

These changes by USCIS will result in an increase of up to 80%📈.

The new rule will take effect on October 02, 2020.

Please note that some applications will see a decrease in USCIS filing fees.

On average there will be a 20% increase.

This affects individuals, couples, students, businesses, and investors applying to immigrate to the 🇺🇸.

For green card applications, USCIS will be "debundling" several forms.

Currently, for example, a green card through marriage, you can file an I-130 Petition for Alien Relative, an I-485 Adjustment of Status Application, along with an I-765 Application for Employment Authorization and an I-131 Application for Travel Document and other forms for $1760. The petitioner and applicant pay for the I-130 and I-485, but all other forms, if filed together, are not subject to any additional USCIS fees.

Under the new USCIS rule, the green card through marriage application will cost $2910😲, rather than $1760.

➡️Here are the current USCIS fees compared to the new USCIS fees:

👉 I-130 Petition for Relative $535 increasing to $560 for paper filing

👉 I-485 Adjustment of Status Application $1225 decreasing to $1,130

👉 I-765 Application for Employment Authorization $410 increasing to $550 for non-DACA filings

👉 I-131 Application for Travel Document $575 increasing to $590

👉 I-129 H-1B Petition $460 increasing to $555

👉I-539 Change or Extension of Status $370 increasing to $400 for paper filing

👉 N-400 Citizenship Application $640 increasing to $1,170 for paper filing.

Again, this is just a sample of some of the USCIS fee increases.

Premium processing times will also change from 15 calendar days to 15 business days.
