I spent the day hiking near Mammoth, Wyoming — my favorite park of the park for hiking. On the trip you'll see a grizzly bear in the distance, plenty of elk, and a few signs of other wildlife moving through the area. Hiking in Yellowstone during the fall is hard to beat. The crowds thin out, and the landscape starts to change color. You can hear elk bugling in the distance, and the bears are more active as they prepare for winter. It’s always wild how much activity you can find when you slow down and really look.
