Outside the U.S. the outlander is known as the RVR, sharing the platform with the Lancer Sedan. The Outlander Sport is available in 3 trim levels: ES, SE, and GT with prices ranging from $19k - $24k.
There are 2 engine choices available in the 2015 Outlander Sport: the first is a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder that makes 148 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque, and the second is a 2.4 liter 4-cylinder that makes 166 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy for the smaller engine is 25 MPG in the city and 32 MPG on the highway. The base model has a manual transmission option while all the other models get a CVT Trans. There is also AWD available.
