I feel that these masks are great for many uses including filtering allergens such as dust and pollen. I would wear these for housework, yard work, and animal care. If you think you want to use these to replace an official N95 for any high risk situation, I would first call Filti or visit filti.com and double check on their specs and uses. Then I would make sure I have a fantastic seal so ALL the air goes through the filter and none around it, and I would feel more comfortable using 2 layers to get closer to a 95% filtration rate. I have no affiliation with Filti and cannot verify any official use for any health gain or prevention. DO NOT use Filti with materials including, but not limited to, gasses, vapors, sandblasting, or asbestos (the official 3M N95's cannot be used for those purposes either).
