The first handling session for this gorgeous foal!
We tend to leave our foals and young stock alone as much as possible, but they do need to learn the basics of handling to make sure they can be seen by the vet, farrier, be wormed etc!
The Duke is about 3 months old in this video and already a pretty confident chap. Although he is humanised, he hasn't had a halter on, or been taught to lead. So when we went to move him to his new paddock, I used the opportunity to give him (and Rosie, my daughter!) a little education. Check this video out to see how good he is!
