This is my raw, unfiltered first impression of Kenya, and it left me speechless.

Forget what you’ve seen in the media. Nairobi is a tech-savvy, fast-growing city with world-class infrastructure, mobile payment systems like M-Pesa, and a vibe that blends culture, innovation, and community. This isn’t just a city — it’s a movement. 💥

🚨 Is Nairobi Safe?
Before my trip, I heard so many questions about safety. Let me tell you — I felt safer in Nairobi than in parts of NYC. The people were respectful, the city was calm yet full of life, and I never felt out of place. If you’re a solo traveler, especially as a person of color, you’ll feel at home here.
