A cherry blossom is also known as a Japanese cherry or sakura. Wild species of the cherry tree are widely distributed mainly in the Northern hemisphere. Sakura are common in East Asia, including China, Korea and especially in Japan. It is refer to ornamental cherry trees. It is the national flower of Japan.
