Survivor Series style match in The Elysium RIng
The Elysium Ring represents a bridge between the mortal realm and the immortal legacy that the wrestling legends left behind. It is a place where their memories are cherished, their stories are honored, and their impact on the wrestling world is celebrated.
Mortis (1970-2010) was the masked alter ego of wrestler Chris Kanyon in WCW during the late 1990s. He wore green-and-black attire with a skull mask, designed to resemble a video game villain, and became part of the “Blood Runs Cold” storyline. Mortis is best remembered for his feud with Glacier and his alliance with Wrath, before Kanyon eventually dropped the character and wrestled under his real name.
Brian Pillman (1962-1997) was an American professional wrestler and former football player, best known for his unpredictable “Loose Cannon” persona. He rose to fame in WCW and later the WWF during the 1990s, combining high-flying athleticism with a volatile character that blurred the lines between reality and storyline. Tragically, Pillman passed away in 1997 at the age of 35 due to heart disease.
Colonel Mustafa (1942-2023) was a short-lived persona of Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri, better known as The Iron Sheik, during his 1991 WWF return. Repackaged as an Iraqi sympathizer amid the Gulf War storyline, he joined forces with Sgt. Slaughter and General Adnan as part of an anti-American heel faction. Though less successful than his earlier Iron Sheik run, Colonel Mustafa remains a notable example of WWF’s use of real-world events in wrestling storylines.
Sean O’Haire (1971-2014) was an American professional wrestler and mixed martial artist best known for his time in WCW and WWE. He first gained attention as part of the Natural Born Thrillers stable in WCW, showcasing his agility and power, and later moved to WWE where he was repackaged with a “Devil’s Advocate” persona. Despite his promising talent, his career never fully reached its potential, and he tragically passed away in 2014 at the age of 43.
Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart (1955-2018) was an American professional wrestler best known as part of the Hart Foundation in the WWF. Teaming with his brother‑in‑law Bret “The Hitman” Hart, he became a two‑time WWF Tag Team Champion, combining powerhouse strength with Bret’s technical skill. A member of the legendary Hart wrestling family, Neidhart’s legacy also lives on through his daughter Natalya, who continues to wrestle in WWE.
Nikolai Volkoff (1947-2018) was a Yugoslav-born professional wrestler best known for his time in the WWF during the 1980s. Portrayed as a villainous Soviet character, he often teamed with The Iron Sheik and famously sang the Soviet national anthem before matches to rile up American crowds. Despite his heel persona, Volkoff was respected in the industry and later embraced as a beloved veteran of wrestling history.
Bam Bam Bigelow (1961-2007) was an American professional wrestler famous for his imposing size, agility, and distinctive flame‑tattooed head. Despite weighing over 300 pounds, he amazed fans with high‑flying moves uncommon for someone of his stature, earning him the nickname “The Beast from the East.” Bigelow competed in WWF, ECW, and WCW, leaving a lasting legacy as one of wrestling’s most unique big men.
“Macho Man” Randy Savage (1952-2011) was one of the most iconic professional wrestlers of the 1980s and 1990s. Known for his flamboyant outfits, gravelly voice, and signature catchphrase “Oooh yeah!”, he became a multi‑time WWF and WCW World Champion. Savage’s intense rivalries, dynamic charisma, and partnership with Miss Elizabeth cemented his legacy as one of wrestling’s greatest stars.
