A two part topic, cutting a 2tpi 2start thread on a Harrison 140 metric lathe. The coarsest threads the lathe will cut as standard are 7mm metric pitch or 4tpi imperial so I had to figure out a new gearing setup and then find the best method to cut multi-start threads.
