Metro-North & Amtrak @ South Norwalk (+Mall, Park, & Elevators) (7/21/25)

I've been filming on the Hudson Line quite a bit recently, so why not the New Haven Line? I took advantage of the (relatively) cool and (somewhat) cloudy weather to take a trip up to South Norwalk. I started the trip by going to the basically brand new SoNo Collection mall right off of I-95. I explored the mall a bit for the first time, got some Starbucks to go, and filmed a bit from the top of the parking garage. I then went to the nearby waterfront park to eat the Starbucks sandwich. Finally, I headed over to the South Norwalk train station and spent about an hour and 15 minutes there. Some notable catches include the Avelia Liberty (new Acela), a BL20GHM consist with 2 Shoreliners (instead of 3), and an Amtrak Vermonter with double ACS-64s. I filmed the interior glass elevator at the SoNo Collection twice, and two elevators at the opposite ends of the train station (track 4 when I arrived and track 3 / garage when I left).
