This week I share an update on the screech owl nest box we installed in our woodlot in March 2022 (see Mondays with Martha #93 and #94). Although it took a year, they found the box and reared at least 2 owlets during the 2023 nesting season. Enjoy listening to their calls, seeing owlet faces captured by our trail cam, and watching the adults hunt and roost in the nest box!
