The 2nd IEEE SA Open RAN Summit, hosted by the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab, will cover the topics related to the standardization of Open RAN including O-RAN Alliance, 3GPP, IEEE, various deployment scenarios, testing and integration, Open RAN security, RAN slicing, and RAN optimization among others. The summit will provide a platform to discuss various opportunities and challenges associated with the Open RAN, ongoing research, trial, and deployment by various operators.
