BMW i5 M60 Touring: 600 km Autobahn Trip in Heavy Rain – Real EV Road Trip!

Today I’m doing a real-world long-distance test with the BMW i5 M60 xDrive – a 600 km drive on the autobahn in cold, rainy autumn weather 🌧️

The i5 M60 has all-wheel drive, 601 horsepower, and a smaller usable battery than other big EVs like the Audi S6 e-tron or Polestar 4. That means I had to charge three times – all at IONITY because it’s cheapest for me.

During the drive, I share:
Real highway consumption at 140 km/h
How the driving assistance (Assist Plus) performs
My thoughts on comfort, suspension, and software
And how the BMW navigation and Android Auto handle long-distance planning
At the end, I go through all charging stats, average speeds, and total consumption for this 600 km trip.
