INGREDIENTS :
For beetroot dumpling :
Medium size beetroot 1
Bengal gram 1/2 cup
Water as required
Small piece ginger
Garlic 2
Cinnamon 2
Cloves 2
Fennel seeds 1/2 spn
Dry chillies 2
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder 1/4 spn
Required salt
For masala paste :
Ground nut oil 3 spn
Peeled small onion 1/4 cup
Cinnamon 2
Cardamom 2
Cloves 4
Dry chillies 4 or as per your choice
Coriander seeds 2 tblspn
Cumin seeds 1 spn
Pepper 1/4 spn
Small piece ginger
Garlic 3
Few cashew nuts
Turmeric powder 1/4 spn
Water as required
For coconut milk :
Chopped coconut 1 cup
Water as required
For tempering :
Ground nut oil 1 tblspn
Bay leaves 2
Kapok buds 2
Water as required
Salt to taste
Few chopped coriander leaves
