The Eifelsteig is a long distance trail in West Germany.
It starts in Kornelimünster (Aachen) and runs up to Trier, spanning 313 km.
We did the first 5 stages in November 2024 and will continue in 2025 with the next ones.
This video covers the 4th and most beautiful stage till now. It follows the banks of the rivers Rur and Urfttal and passes through the former military domain 'Vogelsang. Vogelsang is well known by a lot of Belgian young men who served military service at the end of their school career (till the early nineties of the 20th century)
