"Merci POUR" or "Merci DE" ? Do you know the difference?
Many French learners make this mistake and use these two expressions interchangeably, but they actually follow specific grammar rules! ✅ "Merci POUR" is used for concrete things, with nouns (e.g. Merci pour le cadeau 🎁)
