Former Botswana President Ian Khama says after extensive campaigning of the recently concluded general election in that country, he has taken a decision to leave politics. He says he will now focus on his role as the Chief of his village in Botswana.
Khama helped to form the Botswana Patriotic Front ( BPF), after the fall out with former President Mokgweetsi Masisi. BPF leadership says Khama contributed immensely in shaping politics in Botswana.
He has other programmes that he will be running on the continent that aim to unite Africans.
