Inside Atlantas Worst Neighborhood: Forest Cove Apts

I spent 2 weeks every day hanging with the people of Forest Cove to make this short documentary. It started when I went to visit Atlanta for the first time after my JR. year of high school. I was 17 years old and was so ready to jump into the "Music Industry" as a music video director. I was staying at a friend's house right across the street from Forest Cove and I decided to walk over to the projects with my camera & see if anybody wanted a free music video. I instantly got my shit robbed as soon as I stepped onto their shit lol. I ended up convincing them that I was trying to make a film about them and they gave me my camera back and let me film them. I spent the next week going over to get to know them and the next week I started to film a documentary. Long story short we became really cool and they showed me a lot of wild shit. In a way, I looked up to them as big brothers at the time simply because of how much of the real world they were opening my eyes to. Two people were killed within the time we started filming, one of them I was there for. To make a long story short, I lost a lot of the footage on a broken hard drive so I was only able to make this 3 Min version of what the whole documentary was supposed to be.
