GMC gave their entry-level Terrain a small facelift for 2022, but we're more interested to see how the smallest Denali handles a winter storm in Québec and if you can trust it to keep you safe in the snow.

The last time we drove the GMC Terrain Denali was back in 2018, and it's gotten a facelift since then, although you'd need to park the two next to one another to notice any real differences. The most obvious is on the front end with the headlights now running vertically over the previous design's horizontal light setup. The 2023 engine has also gotten a tiny boost in power of 5 horsepower up to 175 horsepower. A new package is available for the Denali called the Black Diamond Edition which was not selected on this vehicle.
James goes over the exterior and interior design and layout of this 2023 GMC Terrain Denali along with his thoughts on what this vehicle has to offer, including the key features that buyers would be interested in knowing if they're in the market for this crossover. He also goes over how the interior space is for passengers and cargo.
Then the snow comes. We're lucky in the areas we test out our vehicles to get some significant snowfall, which James takes full advantage of with the Michelin X-Ice Snow tires equipped on this Terrain. He discusses the overall drive and ride of this vehicle and how the Terrain has worked during a recent snowfall in Québec along with some snow testing to see how the vehicle performs on slippery roads.
