I could have ended my series after book 3 - did I waste my time writing 2 more books?

Choosing what to write is one of the most important decisions we make as authors because each book takes a lot of time to write. Books four and five of my series took me 2+ years to write that I could have used writing something else, but I learned so much from writing them, and wouldn't be the writer I am today if I hadn't written them. I absolutely LOVE those books and they taught me a lot, but would I make those same choices again?

In this video, I share my super honest critical thoughts on my own writing career, whether I should have written those books, and what advice I would give other authors who are trying to decide where to spend their time.
