Vermeer log splitter ls-200 Fixing a few issues and getting spark again. Kohler 12hp K301

Last year on this channel we restored an old 1976 Vermeerls200 log splitter. I have used it a couple times since then and discovered an issue I'd like to resolve and also upon its springtime reappearance it somehow has lost spark now. Let's see what it takes to resolve the issue I found while running as well as get spark back.
