In this video we have a Marks mortise lock body dropped off by a customer with a couple of fairly common issues. I had just sold the two new ones we usually keep on hand when this customer showed up so after looking at it I decided it could be repaired with some parts out of some old lock bodies I keep on hand just for this situation.
I will note, at this point in a Marks life (messed up hubs, broken spring, missing cylinders, and knob) it’s usually just time to replace with a new 22 series lock :)
