Welcome back to the Feel Good Garden! In this summer garden vlog, join Linda for a peaceful, heart warming tour of Plot One as she harvests runner beans, cherry tomatoes, chilies, cucumbers, spring onions, and more.
Doug’s been busy on Plot Two, but today we’re focusing on fresh pickings from Plot One, battling cabbage white caterpillars, admiring self-seeded cosmos, and appreciating the beauty of nature’s gifts—right from the bean archway to the sunflowers reaching for the sky.

There are 2 runner bean archways. One on allotment plot 1 and the other on allotment plot 2.

There are plants in the way on allotment plot 1 runner bean archway.

There's a nice harvest of runner beans off of plot 1 along with some cauliflower, spring onions Greyhound cabbage, broccoli and Savoy cabbage. 

The outer leaves of the Greyhound cabbage need removing as they have caterpillars and slugs on them. It's still a decent size when the outer leaves have been taken off. 

The Allderman peas have all gone over so they'll be left to go to seed to sow next year.

In amongst the Dwarf French beans are a type of squash that have self seeded themselves.  

There's a nice harvest of Dwarf French beans but it'll probably be the last picking of them.

Doug has been busy pruning the grapevine.

The bean archway on allotment plot 2 is coming along nicely with Firestorm runner beans and Czar runner beans.

In the polytunnel on allotment plot 2, the tomatoes, cucumbers, chillis and peppers are coming along lovely. I'm able to do some harvesting from here too.

I planted the excess tomatoes, peppers, chillis, melons and cucumbers in our old polytunnel on allotment plot 1.

Our thornless blackberries are plentiful this year but most need time to ripen.

It was Danny@thegrowupchannel birthday and we went to the garden centre to celebrate with friends. 

Cheryl and Dale's sunflowers 🌻 are doing really well.

I show you our sunflowers on plot 1 and plot 2. Even scrawny sunflowers are worth a chance.

Our outdoor tomatoes are coming along nicely too.

I pick some sweet peas to take home before dead heading the sunflowers 🌻
