This video captures the reality of a "bi-polar" weather day at camp. We started with a beautiful 60°F afternoon that felt more like spring than winter, but as soon as the sun dipped below the horizon, the temperature plummeted straight to a freezing 32°F!
In this episode, I’m putting some budget-friendly gear to the test to see how it handles a massive 30-degree temperature swing. I’ll be setting up the new Ozark Trail A-frame tent and testing out the Ozark Trail zipper cot for the first time.
Of course, no camping trip is complete without a solid meal. Tonight’s menu is a "fancy" smoked beef brisket ravioli smothered in a tasty horseradish cheese sauce. It was the perfect fuel to get me through a cold night after a warm day!
