This is one of the very few recordings of Ustad Amir Khansahib where the strumming of a swarmandal is clearly audible. He sings 'Gumani Jaag Taaj' and 'Jhanak Jhanakva Baaje Bichhua'. It is probably a private concert as Khansahib intermittently talks to the listeners - explaining how his taanss are structured. It is a great performance, but the recording quality is not great and my attempts to improve it had limited success. The date or year of this recording is unknown. I am grateful to Mr. Surendra Baxi for making it available from his collection.
