ISIP - International Students of Islamic Psychology hosted Dr. Mustafa Merter on Sun. Jan. 9th, 2022. Dr. Mustafa Merter, MD, Ph.D in Psychiatry. He is also the author of a popular book in Turkish, Nefs Psikolojisi and the Founder and President of the Turkish Transpersonal Psychology and Psychiatry National Association. He spoke on Western Psychology into Ilm Al-Nafs. The session, in English, included engaging audience Questions and Answers.

"One of the strange paradoxes [of western psychology] is that the psyche is not very well understood...so can we [from Islamic perspective] explain the nafs better than the psyche- Is there a structure to the nafs, we should be able to say YES." (25:00-30:00)
