24 Hours Living on a Houseboat in India 🇮🇳

In this video, I spend 24 hours on a houseboat in the stunning backwaters of Alleppey (Alappuzha), Kerala. I start by giving you a tour of the houseboat, showing the comfortable living area, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. After setting off, I take in the peaceful views of the Kerala backwaters and enjoy a traditional south Indian food lunch prepared by the onboard chef. The food was fresh and very tasty, offering a great introduction to Kerala food.

We continue sailing through the calm waters of the Alleppey backwaters before stopping at a local fish market where I pick up prawns and crab for dinner. Afterward, I unwind with an intense massage by the water, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. I then catch a beautiful sunset over the rice fields, making for a serene end to the day. The evening wraps up with a delicious seafood dinner on the houseboat, featuring the fresh prawns and crab I picked up earlier.

The next morning, I have breakfast and take a short sail along the canals of Alleppey, before returning to dry land. This was a unique experience and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Kerala—it’s peaceful, off the beaten path, and a great way to experience the local culture of Alappuzha.
