A (Mostly) Productive Artist Day | Vlogmas Entry 4 | The Davi Diaries

Heyyy! Good morning (or good evening, wherever you are).
Today’s video is a calm, slow Sunday vlog — a realistic day in my life as a creative during Vlogmas.

I start the morning quietly, easing into the day with skincare, music, and some thoughts about the past week. I talk about the holidays, spending time with family, and how this Vlogmas has become less about the season itself and more about structure, intention, and sustainability as a creator. I share some honest reflections on content creation, finding balance between authenticity and digestibility, and learning to build a process that actually works for me long-term.

The day continues with a protein-heavy breakfast, vitamins, and a very chaotic (but lovable) cat interrupting the peace. Later on, I spend time drawing and talking through my current art process — experimenting with a looser, more illustrative style, working from reference, and letting contrast, light, and shadow do most of the work. By the end of the day, we get to naps, food, YouTube inspiration, and reflections on how creativity shifts as we get older. This video is less about productivity and more about honoring where your energy is, especially during busy seasons.
