Perched high on the rugged Aravalli Hills in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Jaigarh Fort is one of India’s most remarkable examples of medieval military architecture. Known as the “Fort of Victory,” it was built in 1726 AD by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II to protect the nearby Amber Fort and the royal treasures.
