The benefits of being unfailingly polite and well-mannered to everyone are illustrated in this film, which shows teenagers that being polite and well-dressed is the key to making everyone like you and adults--and, more importantly, authority figures--think that you're not a juvenile dellinquent.
Fun Fact... John Lindsay, who plays Jack Connors in this film and starred in the famous "Dating Do's and Don'ts" educational film, went on to become an erotic film pioneer in the 1960s and 1970s, producing 4,000 8mm hardcore loops throughout his career! By the 1980s, however, crackdowns on pornographers were on the increase, forcing him out of business and into hiding. I wonder if he was so unfailingly polite while shooting those films.
