Gas leaking from frame is usually caused by an overflowing EVAP canister. In my case, the previous owner reversed the fuel pump return line with the EVAP/tank vent line while tank was off for a fuel pump change. This caused fuel to back up into EVAP canister, and out overflow connected to frame.
