Louis and Holli discuss the possibility that the planet on which we all live is in actuality hell. Religion, by its very nature, is obligated to sell us a fire and brimstone version as an alternative to an afterlife in order to keep us afraid and in line. In actuality, the earth may be the period, the end of existence at the very edge of the universe to which we've all been banished.
The good news is that religions all over the world, that do have a basis in historical fact, teach us that we do have the possibility of redemption. Having our souls leave earth in pursuit of a more ethereal existence is appealing to all. Staying on this planet in a circular existence based in reincarnation appeals to no one. There is no more appropriate definition of hell.
