In this video, I break down how the rhythmic crosscurrents between bass, guitar, and drums create a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of melody and harmony, the smart use of hemiolas to stretch and tug at the groove, how the layered vocals steadily build momentum atop the instrumentals, and how the bass line effortlessly glues it all together.
