This donated wisteria is suspected to be more than 50 years old. It has an established nebari and is about 5 to 6 feet wide. The wisteria produces beautiful, purple, white or pink flowers in the spring, but when this tree is made into a bonsai, many find it difficult to make the tree flower. 
Here are some suggestions you may find on how to make the wisteria flower:
Have the tree as root bound as possible
Pruning down to last year‘s growth at the end of the season
Give it a certain fertilizer schedule
Leave it alone, and it will flower when it wants to
