**I was definitely feeling the redeye from my trip home. I forgot to apply Survival of the Fittest re-rolls as well as rawhide armor rerolls for survival actions. Sheesh was I in top 5xp form on this one! :D **

KINGDOM DEATH: MONSTER - Tragedy & Triumph in Lantern Year 7 | Crimson Croc Hunt
Lantern Year 7 was an absolute brutal rollercoaster for the settlement of Santa Clara. We stepped up to the challenge, taking on a powerful Level 2 Crimson Croc... and it did NOT go well.

We managed to corner the beast with its last point of life, but not before it took down two of our most seasoned veterans in a single, devastating final round. That's two great losses on the hunt, but the suffering wasn't over.

Back at the settlement, the horror continued with yet another murder, pushing Santa Clara past its breaking point. This time, the survivors voted: death to the murderer. A devastating four losses in one year.

But it wasn't all despair! The Croc turned into a loot pinata, showering us with resources! We put the raw materials to immediate use, crafting an assortment of new armor and gear to improve our odds and prepare for the darkness ahead.
