A vigil outside of B.C.’s legislature honoured 15 women who have been murder by men in the province this year. The family of Kelowna woman Bailey McCourt, who was allegedly slain by her ex-husband James Plover, were in court today as charges were upgraded to first-degree murder. As Katie DeRosa reports, advocates want the government to do more to protect victims of intimate partner violence.
