Today we are here to talk about 3 terrific products to helping you fight weeds in your lawn.

The first weed fighting product we are going to discuss is Amgrow Bin-Die. Bin-Die is our go-to product for dealing with many common weeds. It controls Bindii, Cudweed, Creeping Oxalis, White Clover, Dandelion and Capeweed. It can be used during Spring and Autumn and is safe for all of our varieties including Sir Walter DNA Certified Buffalo. Bin-Die is a Selective Herbicide, it will only harm
the weeds it targets and won’t harm your lawn.

The second weed fighting product we want to discuss is Amgrow Sedgehammer. Sedgehammer is another selective herbicide, this time targeting nutgrass. Nutgrass is a troublesome weed that customers often struggle with. It is very important to spray nutgrass and not pull it out, as doing so will only cause it to multiply. Sedgehammer can be used on all of our turf varieties, and is best applied by spot spraying any visible weeds. The third product we want to discuss is Lawn Solutions Oxafert. Unlike the previous products which should be applied once you see weeds, Oxafert can be used as a preventative measure. Oxafert is a pre-emergent herbicide that controls both broadleaf and annual grass-type weeds. Including Winter Grass, Crowsfoot, Summer Grass, Creeping Oxalis and Crabgrass. A pre-emergent herbicide works by stopping any new seedings in their tracks at a soil level. It also contains a fertiliser to improve the overall health of your lawn. It is important to note that Oxafert works during germination. So, if you already have visible weeds Oxafert will not affect them. You will need to use a selective herbicide for this. Oxafert does come in a handy 3kg bag which treats up to a 100m². You can apply Oxafert with the use of a normal handheld spreader or with a battery spreader. Making sure to get an even coverage across the area and watering in with at least 10mm of irrigation. After applying, Oxafert will then give you up to 10 weeks of protection.
