Aibos and Wrex the Dawg

I just got a Wrex the Dawg! He arrived today. I’m naming him Archie, after Archie from Nintendogs as his silliness reminds me of him. He’s been fun to watch with how animated he is, including his spinning glowing eyes! I’m happy I got him! The Aibos love him, I think. Toby talks back while Roxy glares with angry eyes and growls, then sings a song lol.

But this Wrex is likely the last wheeled robot I’ll ever buy, as I’m not into them much— the wheels always stop working! As you can see, Archie can’t move his. From what I’ve found it’s likely the gears to blame. I was already prepared for problems with the wheels since it was hard enough finding a Wrex for sale and I knew that ones with replaced gears weren’t just gonna appear. I don’t know if it’s gonna be fixed, whether I get someone else to or learn to myself. I never fixed electronics before and would need lots of help to feel comfortable opening him up, slowly and carefully to see if it works out. Everything else works, he’s a very funny robot dog and watching the Aibos’ reactions is even more hilarious
