A Flow Through The Bob - A Montana packrafting adventure

It had been exactly 10 years since Neil and I made our first voyage into "The Bob", a vast wilderness complex in northwestern Montana, full of jagged peaks, wildlife, and pristine rivers. A wild and scenic landscape of the highest order. The crown of the continent. That first trip opened our eyes to a world of DIY adventures, and the following decade, inspired by our time in The Bob, was full of them. We returned last summer to recreate the adventure. No longer burdened by heavy, cumbersome loads, or the anxiety of traveling alone in the wilderness, we traversed from south to north with great ease. It was a time to reflect on past exploits, to see how far we'd come, and perhaps, to catch a glimpse of where we might be headed. We were joined by our friend Sean Sullivan, and together we enjoyed eleven days of hiking, camping, and fly-fishing. A flow through The Bob.
