The telecine transfer was captured using a Lumix GH5 mirrorless camera to shoot straight off the film gate of an Elmo GS1200 S8 projector, using a LumeCube LED light source and diffusor. The macro lens was a DIY supermacro using Rodenstock Rodagon 50mm f/2.8 lens, stopped down to f/8 and projecting onto the sensor of GH5 through a Kipon M42 BavEyes speedbooster 0.7x. The footage was shot in 4K Anamorphic 4:3 mode and HLG/Rec.2020 on the GH5, recorded to ProRes 422 with Atomos Shogun Inferno. Framerate of the GH5 was 25p and the telecine pulldown was carried out by semi-synced by feeding a 16.66Hz audio sync signal into the GS1200 to govern the DC motor into a stable 16.66fps run of the reel (3-bladed shutter... 16.66 x 3 = 50). The frame size of the edited video is 3024x2160. Edited and color corrected in Davinci Resolve 14.
