Starting on Friday night on August 19th thru till Sunday afternoon on August 21st three of us took our bikes and did a little tour of Grand Manan, New Brunswick and the adjacent smaller inhabited island called White Head. Beginning on Saturday morning we headed off to a farmers market then towards White Head Island ferry launch, we cycled completely around White Head, following the road until it ended and going off-road and over beaches until we circled back around to the ferry. Both nights we decided to camp at Hole-In-the-Wall camping grounds up in North Head; highly recommend that camp site. On Sunday we had only a few hours so we went to the North Head lighthouse and beach area named "The Whistle". unfortunately we didn't have time during our trip to get to South Head, Dark Harbor or Ross Island. Those areas will be for another trip, thanks and enjoy the journey.
