Dash Mini Grill - Crispy Cornbread

Yum! Just yum!! Easy and delicious - you've gotta give this one a try.

RECIPE:

Ingredients:
1 Cup corn meal (yellow or white)
1 Cup all purpose flour
1 Cup buttermilk
1 Egg
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1 Pinch of salt

**Note: Although these are the measurements for the original recipe, I cut them all in half to make a smaller batch (I still used the whole egg).

Directions:
Mix all of the above ingredients together forming a wet batter. If not wet enough (see video), add a little more buttermilk to make it more so.

The suggested appliance for cooking this is the Dash Mini Grill (Dash Mini Electric Grill: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B010XQZFT6/r.... Preheat the grill and cook a large spoonful of batter for approximately 5 minutes until brown and crispy. Remove and cool slightly before enjoying.
