The Psi Proner: A Skirmisher Fighter Build | NEW D&D 5E 2024

Hey everyone! In this video, I’m breaking down my Orc Psi Warrior Fighter build for the new 2024 D&D rules. This isn’t your average Fighter—it’s a hit-and-run skirmisher that uses mind powers to control the battlefield, knocks enemies flat constantly, and moves at insane speeds (up to 110 feet per turn eventually!).

I use Magic Initiate (Druid) to grab Shillelagh, letting me attack with Intelligence instead of Strength or Dexterity. That solves the Psi Warrior’s biggest weakness and powers up all my psionic abilities! Combined with the Orc’s bonus-action dash (Adrenaline Rush), the Speedy feat (extra movement + disadvantage on opportunity attacks), Charger (extra damage or pushing power), and Shield Master (knock enemies prone or push them around), this build is all about mobility and control.

I’ll walk you through every level, including:
How to stack 50+ ft base speed with feats, spells, and class features.
three different ways to knock enemies prone (Telekinetic Thrust, Shield Master, Weapon Mastery).
Using Weapon Mastery to slow, topple, or push foes on every attack.
DPR calculations at levels 6, 11, 17, and 20 (spoiler: it’s strong for a sword-and-board build!).
Late-game tricks like lifting enemies mid-air with Telekinesis while still attacking.

It’s a tactical, resilient, and super fun playstyle that turns you into an unstoppable skirmisher. Perfect for players who love outmaneuvering enemies and making melee feel like a psionic chess match.
