NEXUS BASE | OLLIN 101

The NEXUS BASE is one component in the Ollin NEXUS SYSTEM which has revolutionized the way you attach your optics or other gear to virtually any mount. With a magnetic quick-release design, the NEXUS SYSTEM makes connecting and swapping between optics and other gear a breeze!

The NEXUS BASE has a hardened anodized finish, ARCA-SWISS compatible geometry, and two standard threaded connection points on the bottom face to attach to virtually any mount.

Through the matching engineered magnetic arrays of the NEXUS BASE and NEXUS PLATE, connecting the two together is as simple as SNAP, TWIST, and LOCK:
SNAP: Place the gear with the NEXUS PLATE perpendicular to the NEXUS BASE and let the magnetic array auto-center and SNAP the NEXUS PLATE onto the NEXUS BASE
TWIST: With the NEXUS PLATE and NEXUS BASE connected, TWIST the gear with the NEXUS PLATE into position parallel to the NEXUS BASE. The L-channels and L-grooves engage to create a mechanical, secure connection in addition to the magnetic pull
LOCK: The NEXUS BASE trigger will snap in the NEXUS PLATE pocket and hold it in position

The process of disengaging the NEXUS SYSTEM is essentially the same, but in reverse:
UNLOCK: Press the NEXUS BASE trigger to release the NEXUS PLATE
TWIST: Rotate the gear with the NEXUS PLATE to a perpendicular orientation to the NEXUS BASE
REMOVE: Remove the gear with the NEXUS PLATE from the NEXUS BASE by tilting the gear away from the NEXUS BASE
