‘Maam’ organizes public discussion for aspiring ZPM candidates of Bogong-I & II ZPM segments on drug menace & money culture in election

PASIGHAT, Dec 09: ’Maam ke immang’-a mother’s dream for her children, organized platform speech for the Zila Parishad Member aspirants from Bogong-I & II today at Mirbuk Musup (community hall) with an aim to know ‘what responsibilities they will take up regarding the fight against drug menace among the youths and money culture in election’.

The platform speech under Maam ke immang was led by Joya Tasung Moyong (Maam) and her children. “It was a platform in which the aspiring candidates of Bogong I & II Zilla Parishad constituencies aired their developmental and social aspects for the interest of the public. Further, the main objective of the program was to know how and what responsibilities they will take up regarding the fight against drug menace among youth and money culture in elections”, said Joya Tasung Moyong.

Smty Otel Rukbo Jamoh, an aspiring ZPM candidate from Bogong-II also shared her thoughts and takes on drug menace and money culture in elections while highlighting her genuine interest to do welfare and public interest works for her ZPM segment if elected. Senior public leader Okom Yosung also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the initiative of team Maam and children under Joya Tasung Moyong.

Other public attending the programme also admired the initiative of Maam and said that such a programme involves the public and its aspiring leaders to debate and discuss issues that have to be taken up after the aspiring candidates win. Joya informed that the similar programme will be held for Bosing-I & II ZPM segment on 10th December 2025 at Runne village Musup/community hall.
